Recipe: Glittery makeup remover jelly

The homemade makeup remover recipe that I like to make the most. It is simple, easy to make and what I like most is its gel and melting texture and emulsifies on contact with water, transforming into milk thanks to the Sucragel emulsifier (or gelisuger)! isn’t that beautiful?

The homemade makeup remover recipe that I like to make the most. It is simple, easy to make and what I like most is its gel and melting texture and emulsifies on contact with water, transforming into milk thanks to the Sucragel (or gelisuger)! isn’t that beautiful?

Then I like to add a little touch of glitter to the recipe for a glowy effect when removing makeup!

And to find all the ingredients, I invite you to look at my last article: https://www.les-ateliers-soa.fr/ou-acheter-ses-ingredients-pour-la-cosmetique-maison/

Recipe: for 100 ml of makeup remover jelly:

  • 74 g of vegetable oil depending on your skin type (jojoba, apricot kernel, olive, etc.),
  • 23.5 g of sucragel or gelisucre,
  • 3 to 5 drops of a natural fragrance (optional)
  • 0.30 g of golden mic a

Materials:

  • A bowl
  • a mini whisk
  • a precision balance
  • a 100 ml jar or bottle

Operating mode

1 – Disinfect with 70°C alcohol your entire work surface and all the equipment you are going to use.

2 – Start by incorporating the sucragel in a bowl then transfer the vegetable oil slowly while mixing vigorously using your mini cosmetic whisk. After a few minutes, you will get a gel.

3 – Rajouter les micas et les gouttes de fragrances puis mélanger à nouveau.

4- Et c’est terminé, transférer dans un contenant 😉

My tips for use: emulsify the gel with a little water to remove your makeup.

I hope you like this new recipe!

Have you ever tried making your own makeup remover? What do you think if you have tested it?
