A few weeks ago, during confinement, I launched lives on Instagram including with Lisa N'guyen, whom I have known for a few years and has now become a naturopath. We shed light on the subject: Managing stress.
It was the moment for us to bring together our knowledge, our knowledge on subjects that are important to us and especially during this period which was more than complicated. It was a pleasure to guide you and teach you lots of things on different subjects, we hope to do more soon!
We have decided to give you recaps of our lives and give you some advice, particularly on stress.
Manage your stress by naturopathy
We will therefore focus on managing stress, the mechanisms that occur, the consequences and how to use adaptogenic plants.
When faced with stress, we can develop 3 mechanisms: fight, flee or endure. In the case of prolonged stress, it is said to become chronic.
When we are chronically stressed, symptoms can appear in our daily lives: a knotted stomach, tension, greater irritability, our emotions are on edge, our breathing can become shorter, a feeling of oppression. , hustle…
In this case we will face 2 phases:
The resistance phase with a drop in immunity, a disruption of blood sugar levels, an abnormal change in mood.
The exhaustion phase where everything will collapse both physically and psychologically. The body has reached a stage where it has exhausted all reserves. This corresponds to a shift towards chronic fatigue, burn-out or depression.
One of the solutions may be to consume an adaptogenic plant. The latter improves the body's ability to adapt to different stresses, it has a global effect on the body.
Adaptogenic plants will allow:
Different adaptogenic plants

Rhodiola, called “golden root” or Siberian ginseng, growing in the cold regions of Siberia, Scandinavia and North America, is also an anxiolytic and antidepressant adaptogenic plant.

For example, true lavender essential oil: soothes nervousness and stress. And can be used in massage with vegetable oil or in diffusion.
Mandarin essential oil is more calming (good mood guaranteed thanks to its delicious smell) and promotes relaxation. We can therefore use it in broadcasting for example.
Be careful, the latter is photosensitizing, if you apply it to the skin, do not expose yourself for at least 8 to 12 hours.
Petitgrain bigarade essential oil: It acts on nervousness and calms impatience. It soothes fears, panics and fears. Petit grain guides you towards the path of serenity, a very good stress reliever.
