A few weeks ago, I hosted a live on the account instagram from my publishing house La Plage.

The goal is to show you how to make a coffee scrub for the body with ingredients that are easily found in our cupboards.

This minute treatment is easy to carry out, you can find all these ingredients in organic stores (Naturalia, Biocoop, Greenweez …) .

You will need:

=> coffee grounds (which you will have dried for a few hours in a bowl, quite simply), olive oil or coconut oil (or sweet almond or avocado), essential oil of grapefruit (optional – if you use this essential oil, it is photosensitizing, do the treatment in the evening only, not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women and children under 8 years old).
———————————————————

📌For the equipment => a glass or stainless steel bowl / a wooden or stainless steel spoon.
—————————————————————

🔺Clean and disinfect your equipment thoroughly.

🔺Wash your hands and wear gloves.
———————————————————

🍃Quantity :

4 tbsp coffee grounds

1 Tbsp organic coconut or olive oil

=> Then mix well until you obtain a pasty and sticky consistency.

Finish with 2 drops of essential oils and mix again.

The scrub can be stored for a few weeks in a cosmetic or glass container that seals tightly.

No need to keep your scrub in the fridge.

Massage in a circular motion from bottom to top, all over the body.

Use: in the shower, moisten the body and apply the coffee scrub to the skin with a circular massage every week.

Every 10 to 15 days for sensitive skin.

Rinse thoroughly before applying soap or shower gel.

Tips: apply a vegetable oil or body cream to moisturize the skin.

Do you exfoliate regularly? What mixes do you use?
